Axel

Axel

First times I ran into Axel was at parties in one of the small train station in Brussels. He was there most of the times baking pancakes for the hungry crowd, always shirtless. I am sure he was a party crush for many, including myself.
Years later we finally got to chat and we ended up meeting for a shooting. His skin was just as I remembered it in the spot lights of the party scene. It has a natural shine to it that captures colored light in a unique way.

Laying down on the bed, he slowly began to stretch his body. Every movement and every breath was controlled and gentle It was as if his entire body stayed alert. One moment there would be muscular tension, followed by a relaxed softness.

His movements kept me focussed and intreagued, adapting my distance and angles slightly without loosing sight through the viewfinder. There was no need for words or instructions. All happened in one continuous flow where time seemed to have slowed down.
